Mahesh Bhatt’s Sadak 2 is making the headlines ever since it was announced. The film will mark the comeback of Bhatt as a director after 20 years. While the movie was announced with Alia Bhatt, Sanjay Dutt, Aditya Roy Kapur, Pooja Bhatt and Gulshan Grover in pivotal roles, there is one more talented name attached to the film now. Theatre and film personality, Makarand Deshpande will be essaying the role of a god man in the movie. They both had worked together in 1993’s film titled, Sir.
According to the reports, Makarand will be seen in an intense and challenging role and has already started acting workshops with the filmmaker. The pre-production work is all done and the team will start shooting later this month, starting with Alia and Sanjay Dutt. While the initial portions will be shot in Mumbai, soon the unit will over on to different regions of the country to film the rest of the movie.
For those who don’t know, Sadak was a ‘90s classic and was inspired by a taxi driver. The film is best remembered for the chemistry between Dutt and Pooja Bhatt along with some chartbuster songs.
