What’s It All About?

The India chapter of the Manhattan Short Film Festival is back in Mumbai for the fifth consecutive year. Box Office India is the official Film Trade Magazine Partner for the festival. The 10 finalist films in the global competition are from Great Britain, Mexico, the Netherlands, the US, Germany, Australia and Norway. In keeping with the unique format of the festival, audiences have to vote the one film they think should win the Manhattan Short.

This year, Manhattan Short India will also screen seven shorts from India made by upcoming filmmakers, winners of the ‘Vote For India’ initiative by the festival’s chief patron Vivanta by Taj. The festival will be held in association with Gionee and is powered by Jameson. This year, the festival has also received valuable support from Etihad Airways, 92.7 Big FM, Bright Outdoors,, Jackstraws Integrated Marketing and Gourmet Delight. The festival is supporting the NGO Down To Earth and will donate a portion of its profit to them.
