Aishwarya Rai Bachchan made her acting debut with Mani Ratnam’s Tamil movie Iruvar. Since then, the actress has done Guru and Raavan with the director. And now she is all set to work with the master filmmaker for the fourth time. She is on board a bilingual film. Given Mani Ratnam’s previous outings with bilinguals, this should be a Tamil-Hindi film.
What makes this project even more interesting is that Amitabh Bachchan is also expected to be part of it. If this happens, it would be the first time that Mani Ratnam would be directing Mr Bachchan. After working with stalwarts like Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan, it is about time that Mani Ratnam directed one of the most iconic actors of Bollywood.
