Marvel fans, it is time to rejoice! July 2019 will bring to you the much awaited San Diego Comic-Con that will feature Marvel Studios' panel who are going shed light on MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) Phase 4. While Spider-Man: Far From Home is ruling hearts all across the globe, there’s some big news in store!
According to a leading Hollywood magazine, Marvel Studios will release eight films between May 2020 and July 2022. It also says that Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige will announce a new franchise, The Eternals at the event. This is one of the many new franchises that Marvel Studios has lined up.
Directed by Chloe Zhao and scripted by Matthew K Firpo and Ryan Firpo, the MCU film will reportedly star Angelina Jolie and Richard Madden, who rose to fame as Robb Stark in Game Of Thrones, who will essay the roles of Sersi and Ikaris. There are speculations that names like Keanu Reeves, Kumail Nanjiani, Salma Hayek and Ma Dong-Seok might also be part of the superhero film. And now reports suggest that Stranger Things fame Millie Bobby Brown might also star in The Eternals.
On a related note, Millie has been spotted hanging out with Brangelina’s children, Zahara Marley Jolie-Pitt and Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt.
Reports also say that some unseen footage from a standalone film on Black Widow starring Scarlett Johansson will be showcased at San Diego Comic-Con.
