We all remember Saiyami Kher, who made a stellar debut with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s Mirzya, for her elegant face and the marvellous acting in the film. The lady is now eagerly anticipating the release of her debut Marathi film, Mauli, starring Riteish Deshmukh and we are as excited as she is.
The gorgeous actress who will be sharing the screen space with Riteish for the first time in Mauli and has made sure that she leaves no stone unturned in striking the right impact with her character. Interestingly, not many know that Saiyami is the granddaughter of yesteryear Hindi-Marathi actress Usha Kiran and since Mauli is her maiden Marathi venture, she returns to her roots. The actor has watched several movies featuring her late grandmother, primarily the popular Marathi ones to prep for her character in Mauli. To master her command on the language and speak Marathi fluently for her role, she has done complete research and we are sure that the results of her hard work would be great.
Talking about the same Saiyami says, "I have high regards for my grandmother Usha Kiran and a huge admirer of her work. I really miss having her around would have learnt so much from her. I have learnt a lot watching her movies and really hope I can live up to her name." Interestingly, Saiyami’s aunt and actress Tanvi Azmi also featured in Riteish’s production, Lai Bhaari.
