When a film is receives love from the audience, it is indeed a great feeling. But when appreciation comes from within the film fraternity, it is even more exciting. And if that someone happens to be Chiranjeevi, the feeling is nothing short of euphoric.
It was something like that for director Maharshi director Vamshi Paidipally when he received a phone call from none other than megastar Chiranjeevi. Imagine Vamshi’s surprise when he must have heard the legendary actor’s voice.
Chiranjeevi was one of the many people from the Telugu film industry who saw Maharshi on the day it released that is May 9. He called the director and showered praises on not just him, but the entire team. He also appreciated Mahesh Babu’s work. Vamshi went on to say that Chiranjeevi also lauded the concept of #WeekendAgriculture that has been shown in the film.
Talking to the media, Vamshi Paidipally told, "I got a call in the morning from an unknown number and when I received it, I got shocked to hear the voice of Megastar Chiranjeevi. He spoke about more than five minutes and this gave me goose bumps. Chiranjeevi told me to save his number much to my surprise."
Mahesh Babu’s Maharshi opened to an amazing response. This is the actor’s 25th film. It is about a billionaire Rishi who returns to his roots and in the process discovers himself.
Directed by Vamshi, Maharshi also stars Allari Naresh, Pooja Hegde and Prakash Raj.
