The #MeToo movement has now awakened in the Indian film industry also. The accusations on director Vikas Bahl have taken another turn now. The filmmaker was accused of sexual harassment by a former employee of Phantom Films, the production company Bahl was part of.
This news has also impacted the release of Vikas Bahl’s upcoming directorial, Super 30 which stars Hrithik Roshan and Mrunal Thakur. The buzz is that due to this controversy, the release of the film will now be delayed. Super 30 was announced to be released on January 25, 2019. The producers and other concerned people who are a part of the film will now take a call as to when it will release but from what we hear, it doesn’t seem like the film will come out in the first quarter of 2019.
The film is produced by Reliance Entertainment and Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.
