Mithun Chakraborty has become a legend in the industry with his amazing work across many film industries. Some of his noted films have been in the Bengali cinema and now, after almost three years he is back to Bengali cinema. He is all set for his Tollywood return in with Manas Mukul Pal's next film.
The film is a biopic on Bengali freedom fighter Dinesh Gupta. The director has narrated the story to Chakraborty and he agreed to be a part of the film. According to leading daily, he said, "Provide me with peace of mind to play the role," and that was his only condition. Reportedly, he will play the role of a freedom fighter whose name has been lost in history.
Meanwhile, Mithun Chakraborty played a key role in the recently Bollywood released The Tashkent Files directed by Vivek Agnihotri. His upcoming film is a horror-comedy titled Bhootiyapa. The film will be directed by Manoj Sharma. It will also star Krushna Abhishek, Sugandha Mishra and Rajiv Thakur who are well-known names from the comedy world.
