Govind Vasantha latest film 96 starring Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha is one of the biggest Tamil hits of 2018. Just as much as Prem Kumar direction has been the talk, Govind's music has been equally loved and appreciated. Anthaathi, Kaadhale Kaadhale, and Yean, the songs from 96 were quite the rage. And now all this fame and given the composer one of his biggest breaks till date. He has signed a project with filmmaker Mani Ratnam’s production house Madras Talkies. The yet-to-be-titled film will be produced by Mani Ratnam.
Govind took to his Instagram account with a pic with the renowned director Mani Ratnam and shared the news with his fans and wrote, “With the man who brought Velunayakan and Anandan to life in front of us. Honoured to have signed up for a movie to be produced and co-written by The Mani Ratnam. Directed by Dhana Sekaran. Forever indebted to you”
For peeps who don’t know, Govind is one of the founding members of the musical band Thaikkudam Bridge, in which he is a vocalist and violinist.
