2018 did not start on a great note for Nagarjuna. His film Officer directed by Ram Gopal Varma was a disaster at the box office. But the actor has some really good projects to look forward to and that too across different languages.
In Telugu there is DevaDasu, a gangster comedy in which he is sharing screen space with Nani for the first time. The film directed by Sriram Adittya, is a funny story about the relationship between a doctor and his patient who is also a gangster.
Nagarjuna is not new to dual hero projects and multi-starrers. He has done such films in the past and those have been received well by the audiences. In Malayalam he has Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham, which is again a multi-starrer. This Priyadarshan directorial has Mohanlal in the lead.
Adding to this list of multi-starrers the actor has now gotten on board the Hindi film Brahmastra. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the film stars Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in lead roles along with Amitabh Bachchan in a pivotal role. The film marks Nagarjuna's return to Hindi cinema after 15 years. He was last seen in the JP Dutta film LOC: Kargil which released in 2013.
