Ever since Tiger Shroff announced that he wanted to become an actor, the hurly burly son of Ayesha and Jackie Shroff, has been besieged with offers. Apparently, the aspirant even received an offer from Aamir Khan, who wanted to launch him. His debut became the talk of the town until Sajid Nadiadwala snared him for one of his upcoming films, Heropanti. The actor will play the lead in this film.
Son of well-known producer Kumar S Taurani, Girish Kumar will be making his debut with the film Ramaiya Vastavaiya directed by Prabhudheva. The budding actor has undergone some rigorous sessions under a South African trainer for his debut film.
This man needs no introduction. After a successful six-year stint in the Telugu film industry, Ram Charan Teja will be making his Hindi film debut. Having achieved various accolades down South, his film is eagerly awaited by everyone. In 2011, he was awarded Youth Icon award by the North American Telugu Society (NATS).
Siddhant Kapoor will soon be the third member of his family in the film industry, after dad Shakti Kapoor and sister Shraddha. Kapoor, who has assisted Priyadarshan on Bhool Bhulaiyaa, Bhagam Bhaag, Dhol and a few commercials, will be making his debut in Sanjay Gupta’s Shootout At Wadala, where Kapoor essays the role of a sharp-shooter.
His song Why this Kolaveri di created quite a sensation across the country. An actor, playback singer, lyricist and producer in the Tamil film industry, this multi-tasker is all set to add another feather to his cap with Raanjhanaa opposite Sonam Kapoor.
This year, Yash Raj Films will be launching yet another fresh face with Sasha Aagha. Daughter of Salma Agha, the hazel-eyed beauty will make her debut in Aurangzeb, opposite Arjun Kapoor. She will be seen in a glamorous role in the film. Interestingly, her mother had made her debut with BR Chopra’s Nikaah. Sasha is the fourth-generation actor in her family.
After winning fame and glory on the tennis court, Leander Paes is giving acting a shot. As a tennis player, he has won several awards including a Bronze medal at the Olympics. Paes is making his debut in Ashok Kohli’s Rajdhani Express, a socio-political thriller.
After starting her television career with Kahaani Hamaaray Mahaabhaarat Ki and Tujh Sang Preet Lagai Sajna, Pooja Bose is making her Hindi film debut with Rajdhani Express. The young actress has already made her debut down South with the Telugu film Veedu Theda. In 2012, she made her Bengali film debut as well with the film Macho Mastana.
Afghani actress Gihana Khan will make her Hindi film debut with Ankush Bhatt’s Mumbai Mirror. She will portray the role of a bar dancer in the film. Khan is part Afghani, part Spanish and hails from Sweden.
Vimla Raman has worked in the South Indian film industry and has won the Miss India-Australia title as well as the Miss India-Australia cyber queen title. She is also a trained Bharatanatyam dancer.
Salman Yusuff Khan
He rose to fame after winning the dance reality show Dance India Dance Season 1. A mechanical engineering graduate, Khan has trained in different dance forms like the salsa and hip-hop. He has also been
part of another dance reality show, Jhalak Dilkhhla Jaa alongside Yana Gupta and Isha Sharvani. Apart from acting in Remo D’Souza’s ABCD, Khan has been roped in by Vivek Agnihotri to choreograph his next film, Freedom, a socio-political thriller.
After showing off his ‘locking and popping’ moves on the small screen, Prince Gupta is set to enthrall the audience once again, this time on the silver screen. The dancer will be making his acting debut in ABCD - Anybody Can Dance directed by Remo D’Souza. He was one of the top five contestants on Dance India Dance, Season 1.
Fondly known as ‘Dharmesh sir’, he is mainly known for participating in shows like Dance India Dance, Season 2, Dance India Dance Li’l Masters and Dance Ke Superstars. He has also choreographed a song for Farah Khan’s Tees Maar Khan. Yelande also has his own dance academy D’virus Dance Academy in Vadodara.
Apart from being a dancer, she has worked in the Marathi film industry and in television serials. She has been training as a dancer since the age of three and is also a trained Bharatnatyam dancer and ballet dancer. Chavan acquired a Master’s degree in Fine Arts - Classical from the Nalanda Nrithyakala Mahavidhyalaya. She too has been a choreographer on DID Li’l Masters.
A student of the Terence Lewis Dance Academy, Mayuresh Wadkar has been part of the dance reality show Dance India Dance. He also owns a dance academy by the name M.A.D (Mayuresh Dance Academy). Wadkar has delivered many memorable performances on the show and apart from being a participant, he has also choreographed for DID Li’l Masters.

First a model and now an actor Vaani Kapoor has endorsed several products for domestic and international brands. She will be seen in Maneesh Sharma’s next, where Kapoor will be sharing screen space with Sushanth Singh Rajput and Parineeti Chopra.
Mere Dad Ki Maruti
She shot into the limelight after participating in MTV’s show Teen Diva, after which she turned VJ with MTV. She hosted shows including Pepsi MTV Wassup and Gone In 60 Seconds. In addition, she has anchored other shows like Fantastic Five and TicTac College Beat Teacher’s Aquanoon Party. Rhea Chakraborty made her acting debut with Telegu film Tuneega Tuneega opposite Sumanth Ashwin in 2012. Now the VJ-turned-actress will be seen in Y-Films’ Mere Dad Ki Maruti opposite Saqib Saleem.
Ishkq In Paris
A well-known French actor, Isabelle Adjani has worked in Hollywood for several years. Now the versatile actress is set to make her Hindi film debut with Preity Zinta’s Ishkq In Paris. She holds the record for the most César Awards for Best Actress along with a double Cannes Film Festival Best Actress award in 1981 and a Berlin Film Festival Best Actress award in 1989. In 2011, Adjani was named The Most Beautiful Woman in Film by the Los Angeles Times magazine.
Model-turned-actress Pooja Salvi will make her Hindi film debut with Rohan Sippy’s Nautanki Saala, where she will be playing the female lead opposite Ayushmann Khurrana. Salvi has done many advertisements, for Cadbury, Tata Sky and jewellery brand Francis Alukkas.
Winner of the MTV VJ hunt, Gaelyn Mendonca has hosted many shows on the channel. She is also a dance instructor apart from a model and a VJ.
He started his career as a radio jockey with Radio City’s show Kasakai Mumbai. He has also worked on television serials like Ghost Bana Dost, Radhaa Ki Betiyaan Kuch Kar Dikhayengi and Ssshhh... Phir Koi Hai, and has also anchored many shows. Manish Paul gained recognition after he hosted dance reality shows like Dance Li’l Masters and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Season 5. Now, Paul is all set to make his debut on the silver screen as a computer geek Mickey in the film Mickey Virus.
Kristina Akheeva has been modelling since the age of 17 and has done a slew of commercials for many high-profile brands. Akheeva will be making her acting debut in Sangeeth Sivan’s Yamla Pagla Deewana 2.

Son of yesteryear actor Rati Agnihotri, Tanuj Virwani will be making his Hindi debut in Joe Rajan’s Luv U Soniyo. He started his career as an assistant director. Neha Hinge won the Miss India Universe title in 2010.
Taapsee Pannu is a model-turned-actress who has worked in several Telugu and Tamil films. She has featured in a number of commercials and made her acting debut with the 2010 Telugu film Jhummandi Naadam.
After being crowned Femina Miss India in 2009, Pooja Chopra made her acting debut in 2011 with Tamil film Ponnar Shankar and essayed the role of a princess opposite Prashanth Thiagarajan. Now Chopra will make her Hindi debut opposite Vidyut Jamwal in the film Commando.

A well-known face in the television industry, Sushant Singh Rajput is touted as the next big thing. After making a mark in popular television shows like Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil and Pavitra Rishta, Rajput has bagged not one but three big-banner films with established directors. Come 2013 and the audience will see him in UTV’s Kai Po Che! directed by Abhishek Kapoor and later in YRF’s next followed by Raj Kumar Hirani’s Peekay.
