Last year, we saw a phenomenon called Sacred Games engulf the entire nation. The Netflix India original show starring Saif Ali Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in lead roles wowed the audience with its gripping storyline and direction by Vikramaditya Motwane and Anurag Kashyap.
Now, the show gears up for the launch of its second season on August 15 and the fans are quite excited to see the story continue from the cliffhanger it ended at last year.
We will see Khan and Siddiqui reprise their roles as Sartaj Singh and Ganesh Gaitonde along with the latest cast additions of Kalki Koechlin, Ranvir Shorey and of course, Pankaj Tripathi as Guruji.
While the audience is awaiting the premiere, we got to know that this just might be the end of the popular series.
In an interview with an entertainment portal, lead actor Saif Ali Khan was asked about the next season and he said, “This story ends at the end of this season. So I don't know if they will extend it. This is a fairly solid conclusion. There is always scope for more."
We guess only time will tell whether we see the Sartaj and Gaitonde chase end here or will there be something more to it.
