Krishna’s sport-based film Pailwaan is in full swing and the team is geared up for promotions. The film stars Sudeep in the lead role who is portraying the character of a wrestler/boxer in the film. The first look of his character has created a buzz and fans can’t wait to see the film onscreen. Sudeep has worked very hard to get into the skin of the character. You can read about it here.
In an interview with a leading daily, he talked about becoming Pailwaan. He said, “Stepping into the Pailwaan look took some time getting used to, considering very little of the body is covered. Initially, I did feel shy, but after a while, I decided to turn a deaf ear to whatever anyone had to say and began to enjoy that sense of freedom.”
“This film is also, perhaps, the first for which I had rehearsals for action sequences. Earlier, I would just come to set and do what the stunt master wanted from me. But withPailwaan, we needed to be technically sound in every frame, so we had 4-5 days of rehearsals before every scene. I had a lot more to do than say in Pailwaan and I believe I have done my bit,” he added.
