KriArj Entertainment, JA Entertainment, Zee Studios and KYTA Productions’ Parmanu – The Story Of Pokhran has been forced to jump through hoops to get a final release date. The film was initially supposed to release on December 8, 2017, but was postponed as it did not want to clash with Padmaavat, which was originally slated to release on December 1, 2017. The new release date of the John Abraham-starrer was then announced as February 9, 2018, but it was moved to March 2 due to other films releasing on the earlier date.
But, alas, March 2 was jinxed, as the film Pari, produced by the same production house, KriArj Entertainment, is to release on that day. Now the movie finally has a new release date – April 6, 2018 – even though it is far from ideal. The movie will clash with Irrfan’s Blackmail. We wonder if the makers finally gave up on the idea of a solo release and are simply keeping their fingers crossed with this final date.
