Dhanush is all set for his upcoming the film, with Durai Senthilkumar’s Pattas. As per the reports, in the film, Dhanush will be seen in a dual role that of a father and son, with Sneha and Mehreen Pirzada paired opposite to the two characters.
In an interview with a leading daily, the director Durai Senthilkumar talked about the film. He says, “This film will revolve around a martial art form that was present even before Kalari, something that the Cholargal practiced. It will be a commercial as well as an emotional film.”
Speaking of how Dhanush has been prepping for it, he said, “Dhanush took some training for the role before we started the project. He spent around 15-20 days on training, and Sneha too attended it. Currently, the shoot is progressing in Chennai. We have around 35 days of shooting left.”
Senthilkumar also revealed the story behind the title. He said, “It is the name of younger Dhanush in the film. The first look and his name reveal the kind of person he is. It reflects the attitude of today’s youth.”
Pattas will mark the director’s third collaboration with Dhanush. The actor had produced Senthilkumar’s Ethir Neechal and had acted in his 2016 film, Kodi.
