Vysakh who made his directorial debut with Pokkiri Raja is all set to start shooting on the sequel of the 2010 hit. The film starred Mammootty, Prithviraj and Shriya Saran in lead roles. The sequel will be written by Unnikrishnan, who had penned the first film. Shooting is expected to start in August.
But it is heard that Prithviraj may not be joining this film. The sequel is not supposed to be a continuation of the first film, instead will focus only on Mammootty's character. There will be two heroines in the film.
Prithviraj is currently busy, winding up his home production Nine, which will be followed by his directorial debut Lucifer starring Mohanlal. He is also awating the release of My Story which hits the screens this Friday. His other upcoming releases include Koode and Ranam: Detroit Crossing.
