Giving Bengal Cinema some of the most blockbusters in a row like Haami, Posto, Praktan, BelaSeshe, Ramdhanu, Muktodhara, Accident, Alik Sukh and Icche; Director duo Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee have collaborated once again with their venture ‘Windows Production’ for yet another family drama, Belashuru. The tale, which is their 12th movie together, tells the vis-a-vis of a family and the nurturing of different relationships that exists within it. The shooting of the same has been started in Shantiniketan.
The blockbuster duo has roped in the legend of Bengali cinema, Soumitra Chatterjee and Swatilekha Sengupta as the lead pair. This much loved BelaSeshe couple is returning on screen after four years. It will be their hattrick post Satyajit Ray's Ghare Baire and BelaSeshe. Shibu and Nandita's favrouite Rituparna Sengupta is also an important part of the film. Apart from them, Aparajita Addhya, Kharaj Mukherjee, Indrani Dutta, Shankar Chakraborty, Monami Ghosh, Anindya Chatterjee are also roped in for the biggest family drama.
This entire squad had come together for BelaSeshe, released in 2015. The film ruled the theatre for 250 days and created a history of longest running film in multiplexes. Now fans are eagerly waiting for their favourite filmmakers Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee's next, Belashuru, which will hit the theatres on Diwali 2019.
