There’s good news for all MCU and Iron Man fans! According to reports, Robert Downey Jr’s Tony Stark will make an appearance in the Black Widow standalone film that is slated to hit the screens next year. The length of his role is still not known. His farewell in Avengers: Endgame sent reduced many into tears.
Black Widow will see Scarlett Johansson reprise her role as Natasha Romanoff where she is confronted with her past. The film will be set at a time before the era where Avengers: Infinity War was set. David Harbour, Florence Pugh, O-T Fagbenle and Rachel Weisz will play pivotal parts in the film.
Black Widow will be directed by Cate Shortland and written by Jac Schaeffer. It is the first MCU film to be written and directed by women. It will release on May 1, 2020.
