The Lion King has been performing exceptionally well at the Indian box office be it its day one business, weekend business or even weekday business. The film collected Rs 7.58 crore on a Monday, which shows an excellent trending of the film among the audience. On Tuesday, with a minimal drop, the film churned out Rs 6.40 crore, 84 per cent of its Monday's numbers. The total business of The Lion King comes to Rs 66.75 crore in five days of its release.
Similarly, Hrithik Roshan's Super 30 and Shahid Kapoor's Kabir Singh are having an equally amazing run at the box office. Super 30, on Monday (day 11), collected Rs 3.60 crore and on Tuesday it earned Rs 3.34 crore, 93 per cent of Monday's numbers. On the other hand, the highest grosser of the year, Kabir Singh, on Monday (day 32) collected Rs 66 lakh and with a 10 per cent drop, its Tuesday's collections came to Rs 60 lakh.
Now what remains to be seen is whether these films continue to remain steady in the coming weeks, and if the upcoming releases JudgeMentall Hai Kya and Arjun Patiala will or won’t affect the business of these films next week.
