The team of director Tushar Hiranandani's film Saand Ki Aankh is submerged in the festivities. After actress Taapsee Pannu played Garba during Navratri in Ahmedabad, actress Bhumi Pednekar reached the iconic Lav Kush Ramlila in Delhi to celebrate Dussehra.
Based on the lives of India's oldest sharpshooters Chandro Tomar and Prakashi Tomar, the film stars Taapsee and Bhumi in lead roles.
Bhumi was present in Delhi at the Ram Leela grounds where the theatrical representation of Ramayana comes to an end on Dussehra with Ram killing Raavan by burning his effigy.
Sharing her experience, Bhumi said, "It was an amazing moment. To be present there amongst so many people was an unforgettable experience. The festive spirit at the Lav Kush Ramlila is something that is a once in a lifetime experience. I am glad I could be a part of it. Our film Saand Ki Aankh also believes in burning evil and letting positivity triumph over it."
During the celebrations, Bhumi also spoke to the audience about her film Saand Ki Aankh.
Director Tushar says, "I am glad that our team could be part of such a legendary event. It was a very auspicious day and to be able to celebrate it with so many people in the capital of India is an experience worth taking home."
