Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer Bharat is already making a lot of buzz around us. Bhai, who always delivers a film during Eid, will be clashing now with another major festival fever i.e. the Cricket World Cup, 2019. Salman's film will be releasing on the same day as India's first match with South Africa, June 5. Director of the film, Ali Abbas Zafar wished team India good luck and he feels that June is a month of entertainment.
According to reports, Zafar says "When we announced the film, the World Cup schedule was not out. It's a coincidence that India's first match and Eid fall on the same day."
Zafar also recalled having watched the 2011 World Cup along with the stars of his debut film Mere Brother Ki Dulhan. He was shooting with Katrina Kaif and Imran Khan in Agra and they had watched the final in the hotel they were staying in.
The film's producer Bhushan Kumar is happy that the buzz around Bharat has increased. He said that the audience looks forward to a Salman film on Eid, and now, with team India's upcoming innings at the World Cup, people are looking forward to the day.
Bharat also features, Nora Fatehi, Disha Patani, Jackie Shroff, Tabu, Sunil Grover and Sonali Kulkarni in important roles. The film is produced by Atul Agnihotri, Alvira Khan Agnihotri, Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar under the banner of Reel Life Productions and T-Series.
