Sara Ali Khan, who started her career with Kedarnath opposite Sushant Singh Rajput, is on a roll. She received rave reviews for her performance in the film. Her second film, Simmba, co-starring Ranveer Singh, made her the dream of millions.
In an interview with a daily recently, she talked about how her conviction has helped her in her career. "To be really honest, I am not educated in films. I don't know very much. So for me, conviction is the only thing. You have to know, why are you doing what you are doing. I didn't take Kedarnath and Simmba for the same reason. But I knew why I was doing each film,” she said.
The starlet recently wrapped up Imtiaz Ali’s untitled project where she is paired opposite Kartik Aaryan. She will also begin shooting for the adaptation of the 1995 comedy-drama Coolie No 1 with Varun Dhawan.
When asked about these projects, she said, "Going forward also, right now I am working with Imtiaz sir, David sir. Okay, I am doing both the films of different genres as well. So I think there needs to be some form of firm conviction within you. Your heart and soul within you need to tell you that you want to do. And once you know that, you can rush in life. So one thing that I look for sure is conviction. Either in my role or in my director, or in my script, or in the world there needs to be conviction".
While Imtiaz’s film will release on Februray 14, 2020, the Coolie No 1 adaptation, to be directed by David Dhawan, will hit the screens on May 1, 2020.
