What’s It All About?
The Sedona International Film Festival (SIFF) is an eight-day festival founded in 1994. Celebrating more than 16 years of screenings and educational workshops, the festival offers a common platform to a mix of filmmakers and a diverse audience. It also recognises shining stars in the movie industry.
In 2010, it featured Academy Award-nominees An Education, Burma VJ, In the Loop, Kavi and Which Way Home along with documentaries Garbage Dreams, Soundtrack For A Revolution and Sergio.
Many other films screened at the festival have gone on to win Academy Award nominations. The Frank Warner Workshop is unparalleled, and every year, multiple Academy Award winners have graced the stage inspiring the next generation of filmmakers. Film students have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to work with icons in the industry. The most important feature of the SIFF is that it brings together both industry professionals and people who just love movies to share a heartfelt experience.
