Shah Rukh Khan to appear on David Letterman’s My Next Guest Needs No Introduction?

Reportedly, American television host, David Letterman’s talk show on Netflix titled My Next Guest Needs No Introduction, will feature our very own King Khan. Shah Rukh Khan will fly to New York and will shoot for the second season of the show in the Big Apple on May 16 before a live audience. The first season of the show had guests such as Barack Obama, George Clooney, Malala Yousafzai, Jay-Z, Tina Fey and Howard Stern.

SRK, on a related note, reportedly has signed a contract with Netflix under which his production house, Red Chillies Entertainment will produce three Originals for the OTT platform. The first project titled Bard Of Blood starring Emraan Hashmi and Sobhita Dhulipala will start streaming soon. If sources are to be believed, Khan’s appearance on the talk show will also double up as a platform to promote his production. If this news is true, the Dear Zindagi actor will be the only Indian to feature on the show.

In 2005, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had appeared on The David Letterman Show to promote Gurinder Chadha’s Bride And Prejudice. Their banter became quite popular. Till date, it conitnues to grab eye balls on the Internet.

On the work front, the King of Romance, as he is fondly referred to, has not confirmed his acting projects as of now.  In an interview during the Beijing International Film Festival, the superstar said, “At this point, I have not decided anything. I think I will take the decision for the next film that I am going to do by June. I am just listening to films and I want to spend some time just listening and working on them. So, by June, I will be able to take a call on which film I want to do.”

Knowing Khan's wit and humour, it can be assured that we are in for fun exchange of wisecracks!
