• Yurvaj Singh’s father Yograj Singh has been toying with the idea of making a film on his son’s achievements and he’s even discussed this idea with several big filmmakers in Mumbai. There’s been no news since then. Now news is that Yuvraj is indeed toying with the idea of getting into the film business and joining hands with him is friend Harbhajan Singh.

• After a string of duds, Akshay Kumar seems to have finally realised the importance of promoting his movies. Right now in Canada shooting for Anees Bazmee’s Thank You, Kumar will return to India for a week to promote his next, Housefull.

• Post Life Ho Toh Aisi, producer Sangeeta Ahir was to produce a film based on mill workers, titled Big Bazaar. Earlier, Mahesh Manjrekar was to direct the film but now we hear Ahir has decided to rope in Anurag Kashyap.

• Bhushan Kumar is one person who doesn’t believe in leaving a single stone unturned when it comes to promoting music. After acquiring the music rights of Raavan, Kumar flew down South and watched all the songs with Mani Ratnam. He then decided to have a mega music launch on April 24 (today) in Mumbai.

• Akshaye Khanna, who anyway does limited films, has made a new resolution, we hear. The actor has decided that he’ll only do two films a year and that too with big filmmakers and he will never work with newcomers.

• Rajat Rawail, who’s producing Anees Bazmee’s No Problem along with Anil Kapoor is currently in the US for some tie-ups for some forthcoming movies he has planned. We also hear that Rawail has already signed Akshay Kumar for a future project. Way to go!
