According to producer Mahesh G, Auraa Cinemas says, “More than saying that the script of Ranger was unique, I felt it more gripping. We have come across many Man-Animal conflict based films, which were mostly had fictional backdrops. But, to see a script based on a shocking incident that happened in our country was so much appealing. In addition, Dharanidharan who is well known for blending unique tales with a perfect dose of entertainment has amazingly packaged this script with engaging ingredients. To have Sibi Sathyaraj on board is yet another advantage as audiences prefer his movies for having unique contents and this will be something different from what he has done so far.”
On adding to this he also said, “The film will be made on a big scale and will shot extensively in the dense forests of Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Andhra Pradesh. In addition, we are getting some of Hollywood’s most proficient VFX artists on board as the movie demands for lots of CGI shots.”
Apart from Sibiraj, the star cast includes Ramya Nambeesan and Madhu Shalini.
Arrol Corelli is composing music for this film it is lyrics by Uma Devi and cinematography handled by Kalyan Venkatraman and editing handled by Siva Nandheeshwaran.
