In the current year we have seen a mixture of all such films be it big banner films, multi-starrer films, franchise films and films with A-listers. All these films had different fates at the box office; many films were box office hits while some were disappointments.

Let us talk about a popular franchise film Student Of The Year 2 (SOTY2) and the recently released star-powered film, Bharat and the number of audience these films had in their first week. If we look at the table below, the footfalls of Bharat in the first week are almost 148 per cent higher than that of SOTY2, not to miss, Bharat had a nine-day week and SOTY2 had a seven-day week.
