We already know that the anticipation for the third season of the Netflix Original, Stranger Things was high. The show premiered last week on July 4 on Netflix and it has gone on to break some impressive records.
According to a leading site in the West, it is said that in just four days, Stranger Things 3 has now become the most streamed program to ever air on Netflix.
Netflix has revealed that 40.7 million of their account users had tuned in to watch the season, or rather binge-watch the season and 45 per cent from this number, which brings to approximately 18 million people have already completed watching the entire season which consists of eight episodes.
The first episode of Stranger Things, premiering in 2017, had around 15.8 million viewers in the US. From there to a 40.2 million beginning proves not only how the digital game has changed but also the reach and eagerness for Netflix content.
