There seems to be no stopping the buoyant box office as ticket counters continue to set the cash registers ringing with Super 30, Spider-Man: Far From Home, Article 15 and Kabir Singh running exceptionally well. Hrithik Roshan is back after almost two and a half years with Super 30. The film, co-starring Mrunal Thakur, opened well and went on to earn a robust Rs 50.76 crore after its first weekend.
With Spider-Man: Far From Home striking a chord with audiences all over the globe, how can India be left behind? At the end of its second weekend, the superhero film continues to pull audience to the theatres. It has garnered Rs 64.21 crore so far (all languages and formats included).
Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Article 15 continues to fare well at the box office due to excellent reports and strong word-of-mouth. The film based on casteism has clocked in Rs 52.95 crore after its third weekend.
The Kabir Singh wave is still dominating the ticket counters. The Hindi remake of the Telugu hit film, Arjun Reddy, starring Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani, has emerged as the biggest grosser of the year. It stands at a massive Rs 253.83 crore after its fourth weekend.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s production venture Malaal, however, underperformed at the box office. The Meezaan and Sharmin Segal starrer has raked in just Rs 2.51 crore after its first week.
