Super 30's week one footfalls are almost half of Kabir Singh

Hrithik Roshan's Super 30 recorded an amazing week one by collecting Rs 75.85 crore at the box office and the hopes are still high for the second weekend. The film is on its way towards crossing the 100-crore mark and to become one of the top grossing films of the year.

On the other hand, Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani-starrer Kabir Singh recently took the position of the highest grosser of 2019 as it collected Rs 257.25 crore in four weeks. In the table given below, we have compared the week one footfalls of both the films in cinema halls. In the top four cinema chains of India - PVR, Inox, Carnival and Cinepolis, the footfalls of Super 30 are almost half the footfalls of Kabir Singh. The week one occupancy of Super 30 in these multiplexes was 51.95 per cent of Kabir Singh. In PVR it was 57.39 per cent of Kabir Singh, in Inox it was 51.42 per cent, in Carnival it was 42.22 per cent and in Cinepolis it was 55.31 per cent.
