Rhea Chakraborty, along with her brother Showik Chakraborty and father Indrajit Chakraborty, has reached the Enforcement Directorate office, for the second round of questioning. Rhea's manager Shruti Modi was also snapped at the ED office. The Jalebi actor has been accused of abetting actor Sushant Singh Rajput's suicide. The actor will be questioned in connection with a money laundering case linked with Sushant's death.
Reportedly, the ED questioned Showik for about 18 hours on Sunday and Rhea was also questioned by the agency for more than eight hours. Showik left the central investigative agency's office in the Ballard Estate area around 6:30 am after an overnight questioning session that began around noon on Saturday.
The late actor's father Krishna Kishore Singh had lodged an FIR with the Patna Police, wherein he had raised questions about several financial transaction related to Sushant’s bank account. He had also pointed out financial irregularities and alleged fraud against Rhea in his complaint.
Earlier, Rhea Chakraborty’s lawyer has shared a picture of a ‘note of gratitude’ written by Sushant. The actress claimed this is the only things she had of the actor. In the note, Sushant had expressed gratitude for his life, Rhea and her family in his life.
