Makes of much-awaited film Saand Ki Aankh starring Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar in lead roles is based on the lives of India's oldest sharpshooters Chandro Tomar and Prakashi Tomar, has been made tax free in Rajasthan. The journey of these sharpshooters started in the Johri village of Uttar Pradesh’s Baghpat’s District.
The film is directed by Tushar Hiranandani. The official announcement was made on Rajasthan's Chief Minister, Ashok Gehlot in his social media handle.
The post read, "Chief Minister Shri Ashok Gehlot has approved the proposal to exempt SGST from the screening of the film 'Sand Ki Aankh' based on women empowerment and sports on multiplexes and theaters in the state."
Chandro Tomar thanked the CM and posted, "Thank you Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot ki." It remains to see if the UP government will also make the film tax free for the audience or not.
Reliance Entertainment presents Saand Ki Aankh produced by Reliance Entertainment, Anurag Kashyap, Nidhi Parmar & Chalk n Cheese Films. The film releases this Diwali.
