Last Friday, we had several releases, The Tashkent Files and Hellboy being the prominent ones. The Tashkent Files, starring Shweta Basu Prasad, Mithun Chakraborty, Naseeruddin Shah, Pankaj Tripathi and Pallavi Joshi, had a lukewarm response at the box office with the film earning Rs 1.85 crore after its first weekend. Superhero film Hellboy starring David Harbour and Milla Jovovich also witnessed a not so exciting response at the ticket counters. The Neil Marshall directorial garnered Rs 2.14 crore at the box office after its first weekend (all formats and dubbed versions included).
After opening to decent numbers, John Abraham starrer espionage drama, RAW – Romeo Akbar Walter, saw a drop in its numbers. It stands at Rs 27.53 crore after its second weekend. Vidyut Jammwal’s Junglee is performing decently well at the ticket counters. At the end of its second week, the film has earned Rs 22.37 crore.
Seems like there is no stopping for Kesari starring Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra! The film, that became the highest grosser for Kumar, is still going strong. After its fourth weekend, it has raked in Rs 146.43 crore.
