Teacher's Day 2020: These four Bollywood films that celebrate teacher- student bond

September 5 is celebrated as Teacher's Day all over the country. We all know, teachers play a very important role in our life as they guide us to shape our minds, personalities and also make us realize our own worth, when we don’t even believe in ourself. The bond shared by a student and teacher is the most precious. Needless to say, Hindi cinema has always given us so many beautiful films that celebrate the same, and not only entertained us through it, but also takes us back to our school days. 

So, this Teacher’s Day, we are bringing you these four Bollywood films, which have proved and inspired us with its storyline and showcased the worth of Teacher in our lives. The precious moments between teachers and students is also a perfect treat to watch. 

Super 30: Hrithik Roshan starrer Super 30 will make u cry, laugh, emotional at the same time. Hrithik Roshan as Anand Kumar, a mathematician who opens a class named Super 30 where he teaches 30 ill-fated students for IIT in free cost. The movie beautifully captures the perfect student-teacher bond. 

Hichki: The movie featured Rani Mukerji in the lead role who has a Tourette syndrome, lands a job in an elite school. The movie has a strong message on the education system and shows the spirit of a teacher to educate students in every possible way. Despite having a physical disability, it shows her journey of how she turns her weakness into her biggest strength. At first, Rani’s students are unwilling to accept her and used to make fun of her but through her dedication and never-say-die spirit, her students were the happiest to found her as their teacher. 

Taare Zameen Par: When it comes to redefining teacher-student bond, Aamir Khan's starrer Taare Zameen Par is the first film that comes in everybody's mind. The film has so beautifully captured teacher-student bond and it does make us feel that among the one this relationship is the most precious in the world. The film features Darsheel Safary aka Ishaan Awasthi, a young boy who is suffering from dyslexia and is not so opened up with anybody. When no one understands him and his challenges, Aamir enters his life as an art teacher. He built his self-confidence, pushed him to believe in himself and did make him smile again. 

3 Idiots: 3 Idiots featured Aamir Khan, R. Madhavan, Sharman Joshi, Kareena Kapoor, Boman Irani and Omi Vaidya. The film follows the friendship of three students with different mind-set at an Indian engineering college. The iconic movie won the hearts with its portrayal of the bond between a teacher and student. Viru Sahastrabudhhe played by Boman is strict, ambitious professor. Aamir Khan as his student Rancho is the perfect antithesis to Irani and this duo showcases the sometimes antagonistic relationship that can arise between teacher and student. But with this, his cold-hearted principal learns to truly appreciate the need for love and friendship.
