In terms of first weekend numbers, Mission Mangal stands among top 15 films of all time

Besides attaining the record of highest day one and first weekend grosser of Akshay Kumar's career, Jagan Shakti’s Mission Mangal, that released on August 15, entered the all-time top 15 Hindi grossers as far as first weekend is concerned. Mission Mangal crossed the weekend collections of Happy New Year (Rs 93.85 crore) and became the 12th highest Hindi weekend grosser with Rs 95.22 crore. 

Below given table shows the top 20 first weekend grossers of all time, including holiday as well as non-holiday releases. If we particularly look at all the holiday releases, Mission Mangal is among the top five first weekend grossers of all-time, ranking fifth. The top four holiday weekend grossers above Mission Mangal are Sultan (five-day weekend) with Rs 180.36 crore, Bharat (five-day weekend) with Rs 144.65 crore, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (four-day weekend) with Rs 119.98 crore and Padmaavat (four-day weekend) with Rs 110.82 crore.
