As Hrithik Roshan's next, Super 30, is up for release this Friday, we take a look at the business of his films over the past decade. We have with us a list of Roshan's films and the numbers these films have raked in on their day one, first weekend, first week and lifetime.
Since 2010, Roshan has come up with eight films out of which three of his films have surpassed the Rs 100-crore mark in their lifetime. Most of the star's films have grossed well at the box office but the highest of all is 2013 Krrish 3 that garnered Rs 198.60 crore at the box office. His second highest grosser in the past decade is the 2014 film, Bang Bang! which collected Rs 144.90 crore and the third highest is Agneepath, released in 2012, that grossed Rs 122.33 crore at the box office. His least grossing film in the past decade was Guzaarish, which released in 2010. The film earned Rs 25.93 crore in its lifetime.
As per the table below, from 2010 to 2019, every film of Roshan on an average grosses Rs 97.13 crore in its lifetime. On day one, weekend one and week one, his films earn Rs 13.41 crore, Rs 44.84 crore and Rs 71.53 crore on an average respectively. Now what we have to see is how well the upcoming Super 30 maintains the average for Roshan and if it clicks with the audience, will it further raise the bar for the star?
