We all thought Neil Nitin Mukesh was ready to sign a movie with Rajshri Productions. Apparently, a delicate juggling act with dates has buried that plan. At least, that’s the official story.
However, sources close to the production house tell us that the Rajshri didn’t take kindly to Neil’s “constant interference” and showed him the door. They have, instead, approached Tusshar Kapoor. The only hitch is that the film will be directed by S Manasvi and not Sooraj Barjatya but it will be a romantic venture, living up to Rajshri’s tradition.
When Box Office India contacted Tusshar Kapoor, he said, “I have no idea about this. I am busy shooting for Golmaal 3. Why don’t you call my business manager?”
And his business manager said, “Talks are on with the Rajshris, and they will be in a better position to comment.”
Our source in Rajshri Productions says, “It’s true that talks were underway with Neil but the deal didn’t materialise. They have now signed on Tusshar for this movie.”
