URI: 5 reasons why you should watch this Vicky Kaushal starrer

Aditya Dhar directorial URI- The Surgical Strike has finally hit the theatres and is all set to steal your hearts with a gritty and nerve-wracking storyline. Needless to say, Vicky Kaushal has outdone himself with Yami Gautam, Paresh Rawal brilliantly adding to all the drama unfolding on screen. If you still haven't bought your tickets, here are five reasons why you should right away.

# The war experience: Hindi movies that have been made on the war theme before have served us an emotional narrative but this is a hardcore army based movie that talks about what happens inside the war room, the behind the scenes decisions, which is generally not shown on screen. Vicky Kaushal's movie also brings back the terror of the 2016 surgical strike in the most candid and original way. There is no extra emotional baggage, no love plot and yes you get freedom from the unnecessary song and dance routine as well. The movie is a fantastic war experience and you will be able to feel the rage against the enemy growing every minute as the story unfolds on the big screen.

# Powerful dialogues: As we mentioned earlier, Vicky has outdone himself in the film. How's the Josh?! The trailer had given us a glimpse of the punchy dialogue that the movie has and the final product has stood up to the expectations and how! The way Vicky, Yami and Paresh have spoken the dialogue further adds to the intensity of the movie. Dhar has kept the dialogues real and hard-hitting.

# The film's setting: The setting of a war zone, the get up of all the characters, the background score and music are on point, making the film look authentic on the big screen. The film has been mounted to get well-researched and authentic facts to the fore and the director has to be credited for that as well.

# The raw action: What more can you ask from a movie that is based on a historic war. Action director Stefan Richter has to be on our list because of the absolutely raw, top-notch and realistic sequences that he has conceptualised.

# The one and only Vicky Kaushal: You will never feel like you are watching Vicky Kaushal on screen, it is just Captain Vihaan Singh Shergill and his story that we get to see on the screen. Vicky has subtly stepped into the shoes of the character and played it with full conviction.

URI is an experience that should not be missed. Let us know what is your favourite part about the film in the comments section below. Stay tuned to Box Office India to know more about its collections right here.
