Jagan Shakti’s Mission Mangal has an interesting addition to its cast. The space film was announced with Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Sonakshi Sinha, Nithya Menen, Kirti Kulhari and Sharman Joshi in lead roles. The latest development is that veteran actor Dalip Tahil will also be the part of the squad and will be seen playing an important role in the film.
Talking about his character with a web news portal, he said that he would play the antagonist in the movie and kept other details under wrap.
The film, based on Indian Space Research Organisation's successful mission to Mars, will see him reuniting with Khiladi Kumar after 25 years. The duo last shared screen space in Suhaag that released in 1994. "Akki hasn't changed even after so many years. He was a disciplined actor then and even now he wakes up at 4:00 am in the morning. What makes it more interesting is that as he comes one hour before on the sets, everyone arrives on the sets on time," Tahil said.
The actor will also be seen in a pivotal role in AR Murugadoss's Darbar, a trilingual starring superstar Rajinikanth.
Mission Mangal is all set to hit the big screen on August 15, 2019 this year.
