What’s It All About?
The Victoria Film Festival (VFF) started in 1995 and has since been the centre for film on Vancouver Island. The festival aims to expose the local film-loving community to an array of ideas and lifestyles through world cinema. The VFF is committed to cooperation and collaboration with other arts organisations as well as the business community, with programmes that are interactive, entertaining and educational. This year, the festival has decided to add a special segment, Converge, where short films will be screened at unusual spaces around the city. The festival will feature around 150 films from 30 countries.

India In A Day
India In A Day is a new form of non-fiction filmmaking that uses a montage of footage shot by millions of people in India on one single day to assemble a lyrical portrait of modern India. The film is directed by Richie Mehta.
