Vijay Deverakonda who created nothing short of history with Arjun Reddy is all set to welcome younger brother Anand Deverakonda to Telugu cinema. At the pre-release event of Anand's debut film, Dorasani, Vijay gave an emotional speech where he spoke about what he felt about Anand entering films, their relationship and what he thought about the film.
He took the audience back to his school days and how his brother used to sit in his class because he was scared to be alone. "I couldn't bear to see him cry," he said. He became emotional when he spoke about how Anand's working in the US was a huge financial help especially since he was trying his luck in films.
"I was not happy when he decided to come back from the US," said Vijay. He was also shocked to know that Anand wanted to act. "I told him not to expected any help from me. I wanted him to know the struggle an actor had to go through from choosing a script to the theatrical release," he revealed
What is interesting is that all through the process of Dorasani, the two brothers hardly interacted as Vijay was busy with Dear Comrade. it was only when the film was ready for release that he became aware of it and saw the film. He expressed his happiness and surprise as to how good the film is and how wonderful everyone has done in it.
Dorasani also marks veteran actor Rajasekar's younger daughter Shivathmika's debut . It is directed by Madhura Shreedhar Reddy. Dorasani hits the theatres on July 12.
