Want to know why Ayushmann Khurrana’s the best choice for Article 15? Check it out here

This week, we saw the trailer of Anubhav Sinha’s Article 15 and the director has once again left us speechless. After talking about religious discrimination in the intense courtroom drama Mulk in 2018, the director tackles the delicate issue of casteism in the Hindu religion in a hard-hitting way. And with Ayushmann Khurrana, the filmmaker has found just the right actor to take this story to the audience.

The trailer is dark and edgy, with the intense flavour that Sinha is known for. Forcing the urban audience to reflect on contentious issues that still plague our country at the grassroots level, the promo gives you goosebumps due to the viciousness depicted in the film, and makes you want to protest against it like the main character does.

And speaking of Khurrana, we have always seen him play the boy-next-door. Although he went in a totally different direction with the dark comedy AndhaDhun last year, Article 15 takes his versatility to another level. With curiosity building up for the film, we are sure that the audience will be flocking to cinemas to see it in its entirety.
