Week 1 footfall comparison: Mission Mangal v/s Batla House

This Independence Day saw the release of two big banner films, Akshay Kumar starrer Mission Mangal and Batla House starring John Abraham. While Mission Mangal became the highest day one grosser for Akshay, Batla House became the second-highest day one grosser in John’s career.

Following is a table that elucidates and compares the week one (consisting of 8 days) footfall for both the films.

As per the table above, the week one footfall for Mission Mangal is a whopping 103.79 per cent more than that of Batla House if we consider the top four cinema chains of India - PVR, Inox, Carnival and Cinepolis.
