Mrunal Thakur became a household name after she played, Bulbul in the popular television serial Kumkum Bhagya. She quit the TV series to begin her cinematic journey. She impressed us with her debut film Love Sonia. She is now gearing up for Super 30 opposite Hrithik Roshan.
In an interview with a leading daily, Mrunal revealed that when she auditioned for the film she know that Hrithik was in the film. "Four months later, I got to know it was him and the first thought that came to mind was Ik pal ka jeena," she said referring to Hrithik's song from Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai which became an iconic moment in his career.
When asked about how she felt playing his love interest in the film, Mrunal said, "Nothing better than romancing the Greek God himself. I was a little under-confident initially, but Hrithik helped me with the scenes, which elevated my performance.
Super 30 is based on mathematician Anand Kumar and his educational program, Super 30. The film also stars Tiger Shroff, Pankaj Tripathi, Nandish Singh and Amit Sadh
It is directed by Vikas Bahl and produced by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, Phantom Films and Reliance Entertainment. It is slated to release on July 12.
