Nithya Menen has impressed fans with her recent hit Jagan Shakti’s Mission Mangal which marked the talented actress's debut in Hindi cinema. Now she is all set for TK Rajeev Kumar's Kolaambi.
In an interview with a leading daily, Nithya spoke about the film. She said, "It is exactly the kind of film that I always liked to do be it the subject or the kind of filmmaking. I like films that are sensitive, that say something, that will make you feel something and are still very pleasant. It has so many layers and depth.”
About the director Rajeev she said, "Rajeev sir is one of my favourite persons with whom I like to work. He is such a master director and I have worked with him in Thalsamayam Oru Penkutty which was also an innovative and different film. He brings new technologies to films with ease. That’s why I enjoy working with him."

In the film, Nithya Menen plays an artist, who comes to Kochi to install one of her works at the Kochi-Muziris Biennale. It’s a story about an old couple who they become a muse for her and her work and their relationship with her.
