Parineeti Chopra upcoming film based on Saina Nehwal biopic is gaining all the attention. Chopra has shared the glimpse of photos during her preparation of the film. The film is directed by Amole Gupte.
She has not yet started shooting for the film but revealed that she is still learning how to play badminton. All her energies are invested towards playing badminton like Nehwal, the first female Indian badminton player to have won an Olympic medal.
In an interview with a leading daily, Parineeti Chopra lauded Saina Nehwal and said, “She has all my respect … She’s strong as a man physically and it’s awesome … Her thighs and arms are rock solid. If I had to lose weight for the film, it would have been easy. But to get a fit body like hers, it isn’t … She’s a tigress on the court."
Reportedly, the filming for that biopic will begin in October.
On the work front, Parineeti's films include Prashant Singh's Jabariya Jodi which is releasing on August 2 and Ribhu Dasgupta's Hindi remake of The Girl on the Train.
