This is why Alia Bhatt said no to Dinesh Vijan's horror comedy - read details

Alia Bhatt is one of the busiest and talented actors of Bollywood and has always impressed with her act. In 2019,  She was seen in Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy which had made everyone fall in love with her performance and then in  Karan Johar's Kalank which fails to impress the audience. Alia has big films in her kitty including Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Gangubai Kathiawadi, Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra, Mahesh Bhatt's Sadak 2 and SS Rajamouli's RRR. And now as per the entertainment website, the actor was all set to collaborate with Dinesh Vijan's horror comedy for her next but now she has said no for the same due to date issues.

According to the source, "Alia met Dinu and he offered her the movie, which has her playing the main lead. She had initially verbally agreed to come on board but now, the whole Coronavirus outbreak has put everything in a state of disarray. Alia and her team looked at every possible way of accommodating Maddock Films' next but they couldn't find a window and she had to say no to it."

The horror-comedy is said to be directed by a debutant director and AndhaDhun writer Yogesh Chandekar. Stree director Amar Kaushik is the creative producer on the film, and they all wanted Alia to come on the board. Reportedly Alia had also liked the whole idea and apparently agreed verbally but now she has said no because of date issues.
