In the wake of the deadly COVID 19 rearing its ugly head, movie production came to a screeching halt in India. Every release, shoot was postponed indefinitely and no one's sure when things will get back to being normal. To combat the pandemic, the entire country is currently under lockdown. At a time when going to the theatre is a distant dream, Windows is bringing an amazing gift for its fans on the occasion of Noboborsho.
Windows' latest offering is a short film series --- 'Lockdown
Shorts'. These are content-driven short films dealing with the lockdown. The first short film is titled "Hing", which stars Aparajita Auddy and Manali Manisha Dey. This short film series is a token of love on behalf of Windows to all its audiences who have been ushering love, love and more love on them over the years.
Lockdown Shorts is a wonderful initiative to keep the audience entertained during the lockdown period, where each film is shot either by the actors or their family members and carries the message, Stay Home, Stay Safe. We are hopeful that the audience will love these shorts as much as they loved all the films by Windows. While Windows's latest film "Brahma Janen Gopon Kommoti" that released on the occasion of International Women's Day was highly appreciated by the critics and the masses and ran to houseful shows all across from the day of its release, the production house is ready with an interesting line up for the year 2020 with films like Belashuru, Haami 2 and Lokkhi Chhele. Before that, we take the curtains off Lockdown Shorts. Enjoy!
